Here is an extreme example of moss on a thatched roof and although it looks unsightly is easier to remove than some lichens which grow into the surface of the thatch.
Our client on this job was getting a lot of water coming through the roof of the garage. We were able to do a substantial repair to both valleys and next year we will return to re-thatch the whole roof.
